Fiddler On The Roof Jr tells the story of Tevye, a poor Jewish milkman in the Russian village of Anatevka, struggling to uphold his deep-rooted traditions as his three eldest daughters fall in love and choose husbands ( Motel the tailor, Perchik the revolutionary, and Fyedka the Russian ) against his wishes, all while facing growing anti-Semitism and the looming threat of eviction by the Tsar's decree, forcing his family to embrace change and ultimately leave their home for a new life, exploring universal themes of faith, family, love, and tradition versus modernity.
